With nearly 20 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I work with individuals and families navigating some of life’s most complex emotional, health, and caregiving challenges. My work combines psychotherapy with consultation and care management services, offering both emotional support and practical guidance during difficult transitions.
I support clients across the lifespan, including young adults, individuals in the “sandwich generation,” older adults, and family caregivers. Many of the people I work with are managing complex family dynamics, health concerns, caregiving responsibilities, grief and loss, or major life transitions. My goal is to provide a supportive space while also helping clients develop clarity, coping strategies, and practical plans for moving forward.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Indiana University and my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. Early in my training, I developed a strong interest in healthcare and aging, which has guided the focus of my career.
I began my career at Rush University Medical Center in outpatient geriatrics, where I worked closely with older adults and their families navigating the complexities of aging, new medical diagnoses, and the healthcare system. I later transitioned to hospice and end-of-life care, where I had the privilege of supporting individuals and families during some of life’s most vulnerable moments. This work deepened my understanding of how important thoughtful planning, clear communication, and coordinated support can be during times of uncertainty.
Today, I draw on this clinical and healthcare experience to provide therapy, consultation, and private care management services. I often work with individuals and families who are navigating complex medical systems, caregiving responsibilities, major health transitions, or the emotional impact of aging and illness. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical, helping clients feel more supported and confident in the decisions they face.
I live with my husband and two sons in the northern suburbs of Chicago. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, seeing live music and traveling.
